3 Nights In Tribute To Peter Brötzmann at Pardon, To Tu // Warsaw, Poland // 27.-29-05.2024
This has been a special year. We were able to publish a new photography book “Brötzmann In my focus”, dedicated to the legacy of the pioneer of free jazz in Europe. The launch of the Kickstarter fundraising campaign in May saw three unforgettable evenings of concerts with musicians who worked with Peter, who passed away in 2023. The curators of the event, Mats Gustafsson and John Corbett, invited me to exhibit the photographs that later appeared in the now-published book. I exhibited 25 photographs taken between 1994-2019, the last time I met Peter. The exhibition is now ready for touring, with the possibility of adding some more photographs for larger spaces and to showcase the new book and my work in general.
