At the end of August 2020 I went to Kostanjevica na Krki in the Bozidar Jakac Art museum to take pictures for the catalogue of Silvan Omerzu’s retrospective exhibition. I have been working with him practically since the beginning of his career. His work inspires me over and over again. I was happy to be close to the puppets I hadn’t seen in years. Their energy is so strong that you can easily find yourself talking to them. The catalogue contains some archival photographs too, the vast majority of which are new. I’m showing you just an excerpt from the catalog with my photos (except the cover)
